Adela Andea, graduate student in the New Media Art concentration in the MFA in Studio Art program at UNT, was awarded first prize in the Derivatives: Origins In Geometry group show at the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art, Dallas, Texas, for her artwork Crystalline Structure.
The show, curated by Drawing & Painting professor Vincent Falsetta, runs through October 2011.
