Fibers MFA Naomi Adams awarded national scholarship

Naomi S. Adams has been selected as the 2010 graduate student recipient of the annual national scholarship competition awarded by the Surface Design Association. The Creative Promise Award for Student Excellence is given once a year to recognize excellence in a body of work by two outstanding students, one undergraduate and one graduate. These two $750 awards are based on artistic and technical merit. In addition, the winner’s work will be featured in an upcoming issue of the Surface Design Journal.
